High-Performance Battery Power Source

The D18 CROTALUS features a custom low impedance lithium-polymer battery. Its 8.4V high voltage battery pack delivers a voltage swing of up to 16.8V.  When comparing with a single 3.7 V cell, the 8.4V battery pack provides more stable sustained output, stronger transient performance, and significantly improved power efficiency. It also substantially reduces ripple interference from DC-DC conversion, resulting in a cleaner power supply. With ample power on tap, the D18 delivers powerful drive and exceptionally clean sound.

Desktop Class Driving Power

D18 is made for listening on the go, but it can also be connected to an external power supply to activate greater driving power. Featuring a Chinese national invention patent, the external DC 12V supply for the AMP section,  the D18 delivers up to 1750mW + 1750mW at 32ohm, unleashing power comparable to a desktop system. With ample power reserves, the D18 effortlessly drives full size high impedance headphones, while delivering solid impact and effortless control even during demanding dynamic passages.

The D18 works with iBasso Android APP & online control panel, giving you quick access to EQ, filter, gain, and other settings. The APP includes multiple EQ presets, as well as a dedicated Gaming EQ, to suit music, movies, gaming, and more.

It supports microphone input for clear communication with your teammates. Its dedicated Gaming EQ optimizes game sound effects. A future firmware update will add 7.1channel virtual surround sound for an even more immersive soundstage. More than a HiFi device, the D18 is a powerful ally for gamers looking to climb the ranks.

The DAC/amp has three digital input options: USB, coaxial, and optical. Connect it to your phone, computer, music player, digital transport, and more. Versatile enough for any setup, it can anchor your personal HiFi system or serve as the audio hub for high-quality gaming and movie playback.

The D18 features 3.5mm single-ended and 4.4mm balanced headphone outputs, easily accommodating a wide range of headphones.
