A New Era for Linsoul

Having managed and coordinated dozens of brands and hundreds of in-ear monitor models, Linsoul is ready to launch a new chapter by developing Linsoul’s very own IEMs. The Avant is the culmination of Linsoul’s R&D knowledge so far, and their first step towards redefining the IEM market.

The Avant is developed on a Tribrid platform combining 2 dynamic drivers, 3 balanced armature drivers, and 1 solid-state MEMS driver per ear. This configuration brings together the best attributes of each driver type, targeting the frequencies they excel in and bringing together their unique textural and tonal qualities in a cohesive presentation.

Newfound Transients

The Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) is the latest innovation in in-ear monitor driver technology. Linsoul’s MEMS is a silicon-based solid-state driver specifically tuned to maximize output efficiency under minimal voltages.

Unlike other MEMS drivers that require significant amplification, this design allows the MEMS driver to operate fully under the same voltage levels as the dynamic and balanced armature drivers, allowing users to actually experience the surreal transients offered by this driver. Experience crisp micro-details, airy soundstage, and rich textures of the MEMS.

Sub-Bass Rumble

The Avant utilizes Linsoul’s custom-designed 2 dynamic driver sub-woofers. Two 10mm PET diaphragm drivers were selected for deep rumble and bass texture. Arranged in a dome-to-dome constant pressure configuration, the 2DD sub-woofer produces powerful and focused kick-bass punches and rich bass notes.

Natural Mids

Custom midrange and genuine Knowles balanced armature (BA) drivers were selected to produce articulate and natural mids and trebles. Two custom 653011 full-sized BA drivers emphasize vocal presence and neutral timbre in instruments. A Knowles 33518 tweeter was configured to maximize ultra-treble output while being tuned to be smooth and fatigue-free.

Modern Tuning

The Avant represents a synergy between traditional and modern sound signature preferences. The sub-bass features a robust 9dB output, but focused precisely between 20-200Hz. The midrange features a modern warm-neutral tuning, with a 1dB delta between 200Hz and 1kHz. This balances neutrality with richness, creating the perfect mix for both professional monitoring and musical enjoyment.

The treble peaks precisely at 3kHz with a 9dB output, perfectly balancing the sub-bass, while emphasizing vocal bite and clarity. The upper treble then decays gradually to maintain detail retrieval while being smooth. All of this is shadowed by the focused transient speeds of the MEMS driver.
